The WWF India, ECHO 2023-24 (Environment Conservation Heroes), Assam State Level Summit was held in collaboration with the Department of Geography, Cotton University on 29.05.24. Seven finalists College/University across Assam participated. Among them a team from the Zoology Department of CU also participated. The theme of ECHO 2023-24 was to engage students to innovate and take action to advance Sustainable Development Goal 11 – Sustainable Cities and Consumption. The winner of the team was Gauhati Commerce College. Honorable Vice Chancellor of CU, Prof R.C. Deka and Registrar, CU, Dr. Arimdam Garg graced the occasion.
